Exclusive Car Bows was founded in 2007 by Ezelle van der Walt, with the goal of helping cover medical expenses during her battle with Cancer. A courageous 3-time Cancer Survivor, Ezelle built the business through determination, resilience, and passion, even during some of the most challenging times of her life.

In early 2023, Ezelle was diagnosed for the fourth time — this time with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. As her health declined, she appointed her then soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Lizet (Schutte) van der Walt, as her Personal Assistant to assist with the daily administration and operations of the business.

By April 2023, Ezelle officially named her eldest son, Rian van der Walt, as co-owner of Exclusive Car Bows. With her strength fading, she entrusted the business to the people she trusted most, ensuring that the loyal clients and friendships she had built over many years would continue to receive the same dedicated service and care.

Sadly, Ezelle passed away on 5 June 2023 and went to her Heavenly home far too soon. Her passion, strength, and legacy continue to inspire all who knew her.

Today, Lizet van der Walt, with her husband by her side for moral support, proudly carries Ezelle’s vision forward, continuing the legacy of Exclusive Car Bows with the same commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and heartfelt service that Ezelle built the company upon.
