We specialize in manufacturing original Luxury Car Bows and Reveal Covers that transform vehicle handovers into premium experiences.
With nearly two decades of trusted craftsmanship, we have built our reputation on quality, consistency, and exceptional customer service.
Our values are simple: craftsmanship, reliability, and attention to detail. From careful material selection to final inspection, every product is designed to be polished, practical, and visually impactful — helping our clients create memorable presentations every time.
In early 2023, Ezelle was diagnosed for the fourth time — this time with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. As her health declined, she appointed her then soon-to-be daughter-in-law, Lizet (Schutte) van der Walt, as her Personal Assistant to assist with the daily administration and operations of the business.
By April 2023, Ezelle officially named her eldest son, Rian van der Walt, as co-owner of Exclusive Car Bows. With her strength fading, she entrusted the business to the people she trusted most, ensuring that the loyal clients and friendships she had built over many years would continue to receive the same dedicated service and care.
Sadly, Ezelle passed away on 5 June 2023 and went to her Heavenly home far too soon. Her passion, strength, and legacy continue to inspire all who knew her.
Today, Lizet van der Walt, with her husband by her side for moral support, proudly carries Ezelle’s vision forward, continuing the legacy of Exclusive Car Bows with the same commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and heartfelt service that Ezelle built the company upon.
At Exclusive Car Bows, we believe that a brand is more than just a logo — it is the personality of a product, service, or company, and how it connects with consumers, staff, partners, investors, and other stakeholders. We strive to ensure that every product and service we provide reflects and enhances our clients’ brand identity in a professional and memorable way.
As all Embroidery and Printing services are outsourced, Branding costs are additional to the standard pricing of our reveal covers and car bows. Our Embroiderers and Printers require upfront payment before any design work begins, as this protects their time, skill, and creativity.
Once payment has been received, our Embroiderers and Printers will create a professional Branding proof, which will be emailed to you for final approval before production starts on your fabric.
Should you require Branding, we will need your artwork supplied in JPEG or PNG format, including all logos and wording. The artwork will then be digitized by the Embroiderers and Printers to ensure an accurate and professional reproduction of the original design.
Exclusive Car Bows does not make any profit from Branding services. It is simply an additional service we proudly offer to assist our clients in creating a complete and premium presentation experience.
Our Process
Our Process
1. Quote Preparation
We prepare a Quote according to the information provided by the client.
2. Quote Approval
The client approves the Quote, ensuring that all relevant information required for the Invoice is correct.
3. Invoice Preparation
Once the Quote has been approved, we prepare the Invoice.
For Branded Orders
As soon as we receive the Proof of Payment (POP) for the required deposit amount, as indicated on your Invoice:
• The client sends us all the information required for branding, including logos (PDF, JPEG, or PNG format), wording, colors, and any additional requirements.
• We place your fabric order on the next Wednesday order date. Please note that all fabric and supply orders are placed only on Wednesdays for deposits received in time. If payment is received after the cut-off, your order will be included in the following week’s order.
• We forward all branding information to our embroiderers or printers for digitizing. Please note that digitizing may take longer than expected, as our branding partners are often extremely busy.
• Once completed, the artwork is sent back to us and then forwarded to the client for approval.
• As soon as the client provides written approval of the artwork, we send the fabric to the embroiderers or printers to begin production. No fabric is sent for branding before written approval is received.
• Once the branded fabric is returned to us, production on your order begins immediately.
For Non-Branded Orders
As soon as we receive the Proof of Payment (POP) for the required deposit amount, as indicated on your Invoice:
• We place your fabric order on the next Wednesday order date. Please note that all fabric and supply orders are placed only on Wednesdays.
• Once the fabric delivery arrives, it is sent directly to our seamstress to begin production on your order.
Order Updates
We keep all our clients updated on the progress of their orders on a weekly basis.
Estimated Lead Times
Lead times depend on the number and size of orders currently in production, as well as fabric availability.
Branded Orders
Please allow 20–25 working days for all branded orders. We outsource all embroidery and printing to some of Pretoria’s best branding specialists. Due to the high volume of work they receive, turnaround times may occasionally be longer than expected.
Non-Branded Orders
Please allow 15–20 working days for all non-branded orders, especially when less common fabric colors are required. Please keep in mind that every item is hand-made by our one in-house seamstress and is not mass-produced.
This does not mean your order will necessarily take the full estimated lead time, as this rarely happens. We would simply rather prepare you for a slightly longer wait and deliver earlier than expected.
Once Your Order Is Completed
As soon as your order is ready, we will contact you via email to:
• Request payment of the outstanding balance (if applicable)
• Request the information required for courier arrangements
• Confirm collection dates and times
Please note that if there is still an outstanding balance, the remaining amount must be paid before collection or delivery can take place.
Photos & Reviews
We kindly ask clients to send us photos of their completed orders after receiving them, as we love showcasing our work for marketing purposes.You are also welcome to leave us a review on Facebook or on our website.
Important Reminder
We only place fabric orders once a week, on a Wednesday, and fabric deliveries are generally received on Mondays. If we miss the current week’s order, the next available fabric order will only be placed the following Wednesday.
PS: All quotes are only valid for 30 days, and are there after subject to change due to supplier's price increases, etc.

Fuel Price Increase
Due to recent fuel price increases, our suppliers have implemented significant price adjustments. Delivery costs have also increased significantly.
As a result, we have adjusted our pricing to help cover these additional costs.
This is intended to be a temporary measure, and you will see a separate line item on the formal quote labelled "Fuel Price Increase Temporary Markup." We will review and adjust this markup in line with changes to supplier and courier costs.

All our bows are custom-made to order, which means our existing collection serves more as a guideline than a fixed range. We are able to customise most of our bow styles, to a certain extent, according to your specific needs and preferences.
Should you require customisation, we will simply need a little extra time to design, quote, and manufacture your customised bows.
Custom Designs
If you are looking for something completely unique, we can also create an entirely new design for you. Simply provide us with full details of what you have in mind, including:

• Fabric preferences

• Size requirements
• Any additional specifications
We will then work with you to design, quote, and create your custom-made bows.
Working Within Your Budget
If you love the idea of our bows but need something more suited to your budget, please let us know what budget you are working with. We will gladly look into possible alternatives that may better suit your needs while still maintaining quality and visual appeal.
As with all customised work, additional time may be required for design, quoting, and production.

Please keep in mind that every bow and cover is hand-made to order by our in-house seamstress. We do not mass-produce our products, and while we cannot make the impossible happen overnight, we are committed to helping our clients as best we can while maintaining the quality and care our products are known for.

Our Car Covers are Durable & Stylish, available in various styles and colors, that protect vehicles during delivery and enhance presentation. Branding for all our Car Covers are available. Choose between Printing and Embroidery, for most of the styles.
Custom-Made Bonnet Bows
Our Beautifully crafted bonnet bows are available in various styles, colors and sizes, to suit all types of vehicles. Do not see what you like, then speak to us and we will do our best to design a bow to your needs. Branding is available on most of our Bows.
Multi- Color Bows
We do not bind you to a One-Color Bow. We have made multiple Multi-Color Bows according to the client's needs. Most clients do prefer a One-Color Bow, we do not limit you to be the same as Most Clients. Please always talk to us and let us know exactly what you need. We asked for a Bow that was not on the "Menu". We requested a combination of two bows, and the end Result is excellent! We will be placing a new order for more of these soon. We were told that it is now a New Addition Bow for 2025.

Lizet van der Walt is originally from Lichtenburg, where she lived for almost 44 years. She began her professional career in the accounting department of a local Ford Motor Company dealership, where she worked for more than 10 years. From there, she continued her journey in administration and accounting at one of the largest panel shops in town. At the beginning of 2023, when Ezelle van der Walt became ill again, Lizet relocated to Pretoria to assist her soon-to-be mother-in-law with the day-to-day operations of Exclusive Car Bows. Following Ezelle’s passing in June 2023, Lizet and her husband, Rian van der Walt, took over the company to continue her legacy. Today, Lizet proudly runs the business side-by-side with Rian, continuing the company’s commitment to quality products, personal service, and meaningful client relationships.

Rian van der Walt is the eldest son of the late Ezelle van der Walt, founder of Exclusive Car Bows. Back in 2007, when Ezelle started the business to help cover the costs of her cancer treatments, Rian played a major role in helping her build the company from the ground up. He travelled from dealership to dealership across South Africa, marketing the business and helping establish a loyal client base for the, then newly established company. Following Ezelle’s passing in 2023, Rian and his wife, Lizet van der Walt, took over the business and continue to proudly grow the company while serving their loyal customers with the same dedication and personal service the company was built on. When Rian is not working at Exclusive Car Bows, he is better known in the entertainment industry as Ryan Walt, one of the country’s well-known professional pan flute players. ---
